Kimberly Northcote is an artist and creative thinker from Mississauga. Her passion for art began with drawing in graphite pencils. She was inspired by the simplicity of the material and was fascinated with the way different worlds, objects, and people could be brought to life with only a pencil and paper.

She continued to develop her interest and skills in drawing in her spare time while also completing a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Guelph. Design and merchandising also became part of her artistic repertoire as she worked on the Visual Merchandising team for Old Navy Canada.

Kimberly decided to explore her appreciation of other cultures and languages by studying art abroad in Málaga, Spain. While there, she immersed herself in the Spanish language and explored the rich art scene in Spain. She also enjoyed travelling to other countries and discovering the museums, galleries, architecture, and street art that abounded there.

Currently, Kimberly studies Visual and Creative Arts at Sheridan College where she has learned how to use a multitude of different medias and materials to formulate effective art and design. She hopes to make a positive impact on the world through her art, while encouraging and guiding others to do the same. She believes that working with others inspires creativity and is fascinated by the unique style and perspective each artist has to offer.
