Peter E. Oundjian is a singer, songwriter, guitarist and drummer who finds the most satisfaction in life when playing, teaching, learning, and writing music. Peter started singing at age 10 and joined the Canadian Children’s Opera Company at age 13, where he spent 5 years. He studied Vocal Performance at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, where he sang in both the school’s Vocal Chamber Ensemble and men’s a cappella group, for which he also served as music director. He sang professionally in the Vineyard Sound A Cappella Group in Martha’s Vineyard, MA for two summers. He currently sings with the Trinity College Chapel Choir under the baton of Dr. John Tuttle.
Peter started teaching himself the guitar and drums at age 14, and later studied the guitar in both the classical and jazz style in high school and college. He also took private drum lessons in college but considered it to be more of a hobby until age 22, when he began to focus more seriously on drumming. He has played in numerous bands as both a guitarist and drummer, including his own alternative rock band. Peter writes, produces, records and releases his material independently, often playing the brunt of the music himself on guitar, bass, keyboard, and drums.
Peter finds joy and comfort in all forms of music and looks forward to sharing his passion with everyone at the Muzart Music and Art School
