Jasmine has a passion for performing and teaching music. She is currently singing a lot of Pop, R&B and Hip-Hop as a solo artist. Jasmine is also a background vocalist for various Toronto Artists. As much as she loves to perform, her true passion has been teaching music for the past 6 years. Her goal is to help young artists express themselves freely while learning the discipline, patience, hard work and sense of achievement that comes from learning how to play music.
Jasmine’s music career started at the age of 5 with the Upper Canada Chorus. She studied under Michelle and Ryan Rawlins and performed competitive choral music around the world. By the age of 12, Jasmine studied with the Royal Conservatory of Music for piano, guitar and voice. When Highchool came around, she began expanding her palate studying Musical theatre, Opera, Folk and Jazz in the Regional Arts Program.
Outside of school, she was the Music Ministry head of her church and helped young kids learn how to worship through music. Despite her strong classical background, Jasmine heart pushed her to continue her education at Humber college studying Jazz and contemporary music in the Bachelor of Music Program for voice.
