About Avery
Avery is a Toronto-based multidisciplinary artist and designer with a Bachelor of Design from OCAD University. She specialises in digital, acrylic and clay portraiture as well as multi-media poster design. Outside of the classroom she works as a community facilitator and freelance designer.
Her teaching philosophy involves providing a foundation of “art rules” and encouraging students to break them. She fosters abstraction and expression at each step in the learning process. She is committed to helping her students develop an enjoyable, reliable and repeatable process for ideation and the means to execute their unique, creative vision.
